Christmasphere Day 1 | Books to get you in the holiday spirit! |

Lalalalalalalalalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

EXAMS?

OVER.

NOVEMBER?

OVER.

STRESS

OVER.

FUN TIME?

BEGINS!

Hello everyone it’s time for Christmasphere 2021.

For the unknown, Christmasphere is my version of Blogmas. I did it last year on my old blog (which many of you know about) and I’m super super excited to do it this year! As I had board exams in the first half of December, we’re kicking it off today.

For the first post of Christmasphere 2021, I have holiday books that get you into the festive spirit! I mean, the first post HAD to have book you know? It’s a book blog afterall.

Scroll along!

Book #1- Dash and Lily’s book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan

I read this last holiday season, and I have to say, it’s the PERFECT read for winters. Not only is the book super cute but it’s centered around Christmas! I mean, what else could you want? I love how adorable Dash and Lily are. If you like the first book, go on and read the whole trilogy.

Book #2- 10 blind dates by Ashley Elston

Like I said in my November wrap-up, I really love the concept and the plot of this book. Although it isn’t one of my favourites, I definitely see myself recommending it to random strangers on Christmas eve. I mean, it’s based on Christmas, it has tons of adorable family moments and an amazing protagonist! What else could you need?

Book #3- Snow in Love by Kasie West, Aimee Friedman, Nic Stone and Melissa de la Cruz

Another book I read last year, and I remember absolutely adoring it. I’m not much of a short story person, but this book was really awesome. 4 super cute stories centered around Christmas AND Hanukkah that’ll want you wish they weren’t short stories. (You’re only going to get that sentence if you are a bookworm).

Now the other two books are the ones I haven’t read but am planning to so I’ll put the blurb here from goodreads-

Book #4- Decked with Holly by Marni Bates

Taking a Christmas cruise with her two cousins from hell isn’t Holly’s idea of a good time. And when seasickness forces her into an open suite, she’s pepper-sprayed by a gorgeous guy called Nick. But when Holly makes her exit, she’s greeted by a horde of screaming teenage fans. Because Nick happens to be Dominic Wyatt, drummer for one of the hottest bands in America. Suddenly rumours are swirling and Holly’s face is plastered all over the Internet. The band can’t risk a scandal destroying their family-friendly image, so Dominic convinces Holly to be his fake girlfriend – just for two weeks. How bad could it be to be “fauxmantically” involved with a cute rock star? She’s about to find out…

The rockstar part is starting to sound a LOT like Girl Online by Zoe Sugg. Oh and while we’re on that. Girl Online is also a Christmas read. I mean, kinda. yOU KNow iF YOu KnOW.

Book #5- My new crush gave to me by Shani Petroff

Charlotte Charlie Donovan knows exactly what she wants for Christmas: Teo Ortiz. He’s the school’s star athlete, in the National Honor Society, invited to every party, contributes to the school paper (where Charlie is co-editor), and is about to be featured as One to Watch in a teen magazine basically, he’s exactly the type of guy Charlie’s meant to be with. The only problem he barely knows she exists.

But Charlie is determined to be Teo’s date to the Christmas ball. And she has a plan: To rig the paper’s Secret Santa so that she can win his heart with five perfect gifts. But to do that she needs help. Enter J.D. Ortiz, Teo’s cousin, and possibly the most annoying person on the planet. He’s easy going, laid back, unorganized, spontaneous, and makes a joke out of everything the exact opposite of Charlie (and Teo). But he’s willing to provide insight into what Teo wants, so she s stuck with him.

Yet, the more time Charlie spends with J.D., the more she starts to wonder: Does she really know what, or rather who, she wants for Christmas?

This sounds like a classic falling for the wrong guy, and you know what? I’m here for it.

So those were some books that I hope hope hope you added to your tbr. Because people, book hunting takes time.

Signing out for today, see you tomorrow!

Love,

Sep.
