Romance- He said he didn’t like anything, unless it considered me.

Historical- The smoke merged with the air carrying remnants of a once beautiful house, the French Revolution had finally begun.

Young Adult- “WHY IS HIGHSCHOOL EVEN A THING? CAN’T WE JUST GO BACK TO THE STONE AGE?” claimed the incarnation of Sharpay Evans; different decade, same old teen life.

  1. Your historical was LIT.
I don’t usually do awards, Sep dearest- however, I will drop 5 one liners down here in the comment just for YOU (*YOO LMAO)
(Also thank you this is so freaking cool thanks so much for nominating me aaaAAAH~)
    1. Mystery: “It’s the seventh body, Meena- and it’s just next door your place.” I whisper into the phone, as I quickly tuck the knife away.
    2. Sci-Fi: “Commander!” Soldier C-12 113 cries out- “The airship that’s trying to dock here had supposedly burned in Acax’s atmosphere! But it’s fully functioning, and Captain A-129 003 is alive.”
    3. Contemporary: Tears well up afresh in my swollen eyes; I didn’t know Bhaskar had killed himself- his sister told me that it was the wind, the storm…
    4. Fantasy: “Run!,” I scream, desperately sprinting into the salt mines as cerulean flames appear in both of the women’s hands- “The Firemen are here!”
    5. Romance: When a girl like that smiles at you, it kind of flips your world the wrong way around- you need a minute to catch your breath, to find your feet, to brace your hand against a wall and figure out how to react.

………….that sounds devastatingly pshyco…I may have taken it the wrong way, but it seems like you are torturing Meena?
      OOOH. WELCOME HOME CAPTAINNNNNN.
      Bhaskar. : (
FIREMEN. Making me laugh ZD ZD.

      1. Oh no I killed some rando and then pretended like I’m a detective because my friend Meena is also a detective but *plot t w i s t* I’m actually the killer we’re both supposed to be investigating.
        Yeah… Bhaskar.
FIRE IN THE MOUNTAIN, RUN RUN RUN-
I will throw myself off of the cliff that Bhaskar threw himself off before I write anything even slightly romantic.
(But I have published a lovey dovey little story on my blog- I can send you the link on GChat if you’d like ;D)

  2. Thriller:
It’s close to midnight, and something evil’s lurking in the dark.
    (Wait, I think that’s someone else’s Thriller…)

    Mystery:
    Who farted?
    (It was probably me)

    Dystopian:
I saw, next to the tent city and decaying abandoned buildings, a sign telling people to reelect the President, so that he would continue to take away their freedoms, and threw a rock angrily at the sign, wondering how anyone could vote for the person responsible for creating this horrible world.
(wait, I’m just describing California in 2021)

    Paranormal:
Sparkly vampires suck; I don’t mean they suck blood, they just suck.
    (#truth)

    Romance:
I looked into her eyes, she smiled and laughed, and then pulled me close for a kiss, as we realized we were perfect together.
(wait, that’s not romance, that’s fantasy, because in my world things like that never happen)
