Wrap Ups

September Wrap-Up || I’m not even bothered about time anymore ||

Hello dearest bloggers and the world beyond!

The 9th month is over now and it’s BIRTHDAY MONTH!

I won’t give much of an intro since, wrap-up posts do tend to be quite long.

Let’s scroll right into it!

Warning- I’m listening to Lover while doing this, so kindly excuse random outbursts (if any)

Books I read this month

Note- All these are recommended for 14+, unless stated otherwise.

1-The Dead List by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Unless you haven’t being paying attention to my blog, you’d know that-

THIS. IS. AN. AMAZING. BOOK.

If you haven’t been paying attention, it’s alright. I spam like posts too! (Don’t blame me, too many exams) So go here to check my review (YES! FINALLY) over here. ; )

Read this if you like to be kept on your toes, highschool, mystery, suspense and being 😱😱 at the end.

2-They wish they were us by Jessica Goodman

When I started this book, I was intrigued by the plot, by everything that happened. As I found out what happened, I was furious on the character’s belief. This book, had totally encompassed me. So many days, I had breakdowns because of this book. Now, this doesn’t awfully sound positive, and it’s not. It’s a mystery, yes, but it’s not like the stuff I usually read. I suggest you research a bit if it’s your forte, before reading it. And it has tons of content warnings too. Almost like 13 reasons why, but instead of solidary torture, there’s a group.

Read this if you like mystery, suspense, feeling like you’re in the story and having multiple breakdowns 🙂. 15+ ONLY.

3-Better than the movies by Lynn Painter

After reading they wish they were us, I needed a break from all mysteries (I usually need these kinda stuff after books envelope me into their emotional drama drama). So I went for a fluffy, YA novel, that I’ve been wanting to read for agesssssssssssss.

And I’m glad to say, this book exceeded my expectations. It’s not merely a fluffy book, it has got lessons too. It proves that good friendship goes a long way. I always like books that show that friendship should come before a relationship and how important it is.

I recommend this book if you like rom-coms, get movie references, love enemy-to-lovers trope, fake dating and want a book that’ll get you ‘awwing’!

4- A match made in Mehendi

Je suis started this today. That is, 27/9/20.

Will update. ZD

5- The Duke & I by Julia Quinn

Yes the Bridgertons have reached me.

It’s only because the book above (Better than the movies) mentioned it and I’d hurt tons about it and I decided that this would be the moment I’ll read all the series. I did read book 1, 2, 3 and 4. I think? I read Anthony and Benedict and Daphne and Colin. Yep. 4. But I’m not reviewing these.

6- The Viscount Who Loved Me by Julia Quinn

7- An Offer From A Gentleman by Julia Quinn

8- Romancing Mr Bridgerton by Julia Quinn (I forgot to add this in that image there)

Ending thoughts

This has been a good month. Now I’ve given up the hope that a month will pass and I won’t have exams. 🙂

I’ve been exhausted, but in a good way.

School has been good. Life has been fine. Mr Editor has been awesome. (a popsicle for you if you see this). And yeah, I honestly don’t have much to say. See you next month ZD. Love you all!!

  1. Didn’t get any popsicle.
Dude, seriously, you are supposed to read This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen from the past month. Please read it before those 🤮 exams at least! The only recommendation you’ve actually taken by me is Reputation. And you know how that turned out. I’ll seriously give up after this and never recommend you anything. Ever.
Was waiting for the random lover outburst. Never came :((

    1. I downloaded it. I assure you, I’ll read it next. Pakka. And yeaaaaah I should start following your recs. True that.

Oh I started this the time I was listening to lover. Then I left it.

Then I was talking to a certain someone while finishing the rest of the post. Now you know who to blame for lack of lover outbursts.

        I won’t. Humans do. I’m a goddess.
I don’t like Popsicles, not at all. So it’s good that I don’t have one 🙂
