Christmasphere Day 8| Winter quotes I love the most

Hello bloggers and the world beyond!

So I went slightly off-track for the last few days, but Sep is now BACK and COLLECTED.

I’ve really liked this super genius idea of mine (if I do say it myself).

So I’ll be going on a quote hunt through the books I’ve read and sharing them here.

Scroll along!

“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, “Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”

Lewis Carroll, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland / Through the Looking-Glass

“October extinguished itself in a rush of howling winds and driving rain and November arrived, cold as frozen iron, with hard frosts every morning and icy drafts that bit at exposed hands and faces.”

J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

“The only real place Grey felt safe, like he couldn’t hurt anyone, was in the mountains. The great towering stone, jutting out from the earth like vengeful gods, felt indestructible. They’d been there millennia before Grey, and they’d be here long after he was gone.”

― Sandhya Menon, Of Curses and Kisses

“Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before! What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more!”

― Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

I’m actually a bit exhausted today, so that’s it for now. Who knew Christmasphere and posting daily was so hard? Have a good day people!
